Morning in AF Canyon

On Wednesday last week. Lois and I went to the canyon to cook breakfast and enjoy the cool air and quiet environment.  It was very quiet in the canyon until about 10:30 when the trailers started coming down from Granite Flat.
We were at One Mile picnic site which is "one mile" from the Tibble Fork Junction.  We had it all to ourselves.
After our breakfast of bacon, eggs, pancakes, grapefruit, and hot chocolate, Lois relaxed in the shade and knitted while I went and took some pictures.
It was really fun especially because it had been some time since we had done that.  And, after all, day use of the facilities is free with our Golden Age Passport!
After the pictures we took a "detour" up to the summit of the Alpine Scenic Loop.
We plan to not wait so long until we do it again.

Bacon's on!
