The show was written by Sunnie Rae Thompson and was originally about 3 hours long. Over the years, Sunnie has been able to change the script and, with the help of ReNae on the directing of the production, to shorten the length to about 1 hour and 30 minutes with no intermission. ReNae said that "we make a great team."
It is held each week of the 4th of July in the Sevier Valley Center, a beautiful theater. (Kudo's to the light crew. It was great.)
We attended the Matinee on the 4th, the final production of 4 shows.
The production deals with the founding of the country at the time of the Declaration of Independence and deals with, comically I might add, with King George of England and the Revolutionary War.
The production is a must see if you are in the Richfield area at that time of the year and is a wonderful combination of drama, comedy, and tragedy...mostly it is a somewhat light-hearted look at our country's founding.

In the evening, after a nice meal at Rachelle's (ReNae's daughter, who lives now right across the street from her) we went to view the fireworks. I have included a few of the better ones I took.
This was my first serious effort to take fireworks pictures. It was very windy and so it made some neat affects.
This is my favorite...didn't know they put flags in the bombs!!!

We left for home at 8 the next morning as Lois had to be back in Provo for a lab test that was scheduled some time ago.
Hope no one died from a heart attack from seeing me back on blogging!
