On Friday the 13th (Lucky Day) we drove to Phoenix so that we could be with Bryton when he went to the Temple on Saturday. We did the trip in one day and it was alright, but just a little long, about 11 hours of driving.We had a very wonderful day with Bryton, Stuart, JoAnn and Grandpa Fred Ybright, who was his escort. It was a great session and was held in the Mesa, Arizona temple.
On Sunday, the 15th, he spoke in Church and bore a real strong testimony of the Savior and also the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith and the restoration. It was a very mature talk. He seems quite well prepared from and intellectual standpoint to teach the Gospel.
It was a real thrill for us to be with Bryton as he prepares for his mission to Chile Santiago East Mission.
Bryton enters the MTC in Prove Utah on April 1 and will leave for Chile about 8 weeks later. We are real excited for him and he seems very excited and "ready to go to work".
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to be with them for this very special event.
We're proud of Bryton too and pray the Lord will bless him in the challenges ahead
