Last Days (for this Summer)!

Well, we made it to the mid point of our mission, the shutting down of activites for the 2008 season. It was with a lot of mixed emotion that we pulled out on Wednesday morning, the 15th and headed home with our trailer and "stuff". The enclosed picture shows Lois working to get the trailer ready to close up for the winter. We decided that it would be easier to clean it there than to have to do that here. When we got home we just unloaded all the stuff here at our apartment.
It was a wonderful summer and we already are looking forward to next April when we head East again to HVC. I guess we most enjoyed the young women weeks from June to August, but we also had some great experiences with the Families and Groups who attended on weekends.
Our last few days we just tied up loose ends and turned in our keys and radio on Tuesday, as well as other minutia we had collected that belonged to the camp.
Today is Lois' birthday and Amy is cooking dinner. We meet with the Stake President this afternoon to get our papers re-submitted for next Summer.
Tomorrow morning we are going to Idaho to spend a week with Donelle and Alisa and their families. We will update posts to let you know what is going on.
It is good to be "home".
