First Sunday Meetings on the Mountain
We met today for our church meetings in the Hinckley Pavilion. Lois played the music for Sacrament meeting and did well. I was able to get our keyboard hooked into the sound system and so it sounded much more like a chapel than when just using a keyboard in the corner! The pavilions have speakers in the ceiling that cover the whole pavilion. We got good comments, both about the sound and Lois' playing. The picture enclosed shows her helping Sister Henrie, at the keyboard, who is the other organist and will be playing next Sunday. Sister Johnson, our co host in Camp Sariah and organist for Relief Society is looking on.

This picture just shows some of the Elders and Sisters "mingling" following our meetings. There seemed to be an especially good spirit here on the mountain today and it is so enjoyable to meet in a "bowery", if you will, much like the pioneers, but with a few of the more modern conveniences!
These two pictures are of a couple of critters seen in the past week VERY near where our trailer is parked. The mule deer I photographed just this morning about 9:00 as we were leaving for 10:00 Church. The moose was across the road in the amphitheater about a week ago (when there was still snow).

We are still enjoying it here. We had our first campers, two fathers and sons groups, in on Friday night and we felt like were picking up right where we left off last Fall!
From 1 to 4 yesterday we helped with the first of two annual camp open houses to be held this year.
Approximately 2200 people visited the camp yesterday during those 3 hours, mostly young women leaders who are bringing their girls here this summer and who were chock full of questions. It was a tiring, but very satisfying, afternoon. It is so fun to feel their excitement about coming here to this special place for their camps. (Notice the new gold "Virture" banner which represents the new value added to the program this year.)
