A Special Day for Our Family

Stuart has been called to be an assistant to the High Priests Group Leader in his ward in Arizona.  Because of the distance, time, and cost involved it appeared that I would not be able to do the ordination, which we both really felt bad about.

His Stake President was in Bountiful this past Sunday visiting with his mother in law and so we were able to arrange to go there on Sunday (July 12) to take care of both the ordination and setting apart, allowing me to be a part of that ordinance as well.  It was very special.
We have such a great family.  Both Greg and Dave were there even though they could not be in the circle...yet!  I am sure that Alan would have been there as well had he not been so far away.  Alisa brought Mariah and they drove down from Boise to be there to support Stuart in this important change in his life.  It was fun to see them all, even though it was only for a little over an hour and everyone had to head home.

They all got together in PG Saturday night and Sunday and Stuart and his family were stopping to visit with JoAnne's Dad in Enterprise and they went the rest of the way home last Monday.
It was a wonderful experience and President Hancock was so kind to be willing to do this for our family.
